I will say, the first few chapters were more impassioned than I was prepared for. I knew very little of Edna St. Sounds like a fascinating read. Even though it was used to describe Laura in the book, it can equally be used to paint a picture of Millay’s life throughout the story. I could write an essay about the layers, the pain, the sacrifice, the hurt, and every other passion that lies within the book.
